We have an adoption process in place for all our dogs. The first step is completing the application form so we can learn a little about you, your home and the life you could offer Kiwi. If we feel you could be a suitable match, we will then contact you to discuss the next steps.
We are always happy to answer genuine questions, but please complete the application form if you wish to be considered for adoption.
KIWI – 2 YEARS OLD – FOSTERED IN EDINBURGH
Kiwi is a gorgeous 2-year-old girl who is incredibly friendly, affectionate and loving. She adores human company and is very much a family dog who wants to be involved in whatever her people are doing.
Originally from Bosnia, Kiwi is now in foster in Edinburgh and has settled remarkably well.
She currently lives with dogs and cats. She is friendly with dogs she meets and pretty much ignores the cats.
Kiwi walks nicely on the lead once her initial excitement has passed, travels well in the car and is very food and treat motivated, which will be a great help with her continued training.
She can be mouthy and nibble when excited, so we’re looking for a home with children aged around 8–10+. She can also be a little possessive around her foster mum, beds and food when other dogs are present. If living with another dog, she’ll need sensible boundaries and continued positive training around resources and attention.
Kiwi is still working on her toilet training, but she has only recently arrived in foster. She already sleeps happily in her crate overnight.
Kiwi is spayed and has so much potential. She needs a family who will give her love, consistency, sensible boundaries and continue her training.
In return, we think they’re going to get an absolutely fabulous, affectionate little companion. ❤️
