Description

We are beyond devastated to admit we need to find a new home for Marlee. She is a KC registered Blue Staffy and is fully DNA health tested. She turned 2 years old on the 23rd Sept. Marlee is extremely affectionate. She loves nothing more than a cuddle. She is fully house trained and knows all basic commands and more. Great with children and other dogs out and about. She can also be off lead. The reason for re homing is because she has been bullying our older dog who is 7 years. After speaking with a dog behaviourist, we believe she feels she needs to protect me and is using our other dog as her outlet. I am nearing heavily pregnant with twins and already have 2 children at home. Therefore, although it pains me to say it, we do not have the time to put in to training to see if this behaviour can be rectified. Because of this, we believe Marlee will be best suited to a household with no other dogs. Although she has never shown aggression toward any other dog, I would hate for the same thing to happen in a new home. She does not even approach dogs on a walk so can be trusted mingling outside the home. Please know we have not taken this decision lightly and we have been back and forth with what's best to do in this situation. Unfortunately it has just come a time were we have no other option.
