Description
This is breaking my heart and this isn’t easy but we need this wee man rehomed, he can’t be rehomed at a kennels due to his behaviour issues, we as owners have failed him. He’s fine indoors until he sees a cat or dog in the street and he will go crazy! Walking him is the worst, he’s fine on the lead and does have recall until again if he sees another dog or cat he will go crazy screeching growling barking etc I don’t have the confidence in him that he wouldn’t go for another dog I’m too scared to try I just walk the other way which I know isn’t the right thing to do. I’ll go more into detail but Benny needs a home with someone who can train a dog confidently, no other animals or kids to be in the property and ideally someone with a lot of time and experience of owning dogs. Currently he lives with my cat and 8 year old, the cat he’s fine with he torments him but just wants to play he does grab his toys and tries to get the cat to play with him but the cats got better ideas.. no kids purely because I don’t want the kid to be scared of him or be put off other dogs.
Please offer no judgement, price is negotiable and know this isn’t the way I wanted to go but with new hours at work and different schedules and his behaviour I’m unable to have the time to train him properly.
Benny loves nothing more than being snuggled under a blanket / duvet or lying in the sun in the garden during the summer or near a warm radiator he’s the perfect companion in the house as long as no dogs are in his sight.
We stay in West Lothian, Scotland.
