Delliah Is Looking for Her Forever Home – Again (Through No Fault of Her Own)
Age: 2 years
Location: Foster Home, Warrington (North West England, UK)
Delliah is a stunning female Cane Corso, FCI / IKC registered, who was recently adopted but sadly had to return to her foster home due to her owner being hospitalised for an unknown period of time.
👉 This return is absolutely not related to Delliah’s behaviour.
She has spent the last 5 months in a dedicated, experienced foster home, where she has made excellent progress. We are now once again searching for a stable, knowledgeable forever home that understands the breed and is committed to continuing her development.
Health & Background:
• FCI / IKC registered female
• Parents health tested for:
• Hip dysplasia
• Elbow dysplasia
• DSRA
• Delliah will be spayed before adoption
• Microchipped and will be fully registered with a vet prior to adoption
What We Know About Delliah:
• Extremely loyal, loving, and intelligent
• Forms very strong bonds with her people
• Has a strong guarding instinct in the home – she is deeply devoted, so we are looking for an owner who can channel this protectiveness calmly and responsibly
• Still barks at bicycles, but once they pass, she quickly disengages and happily continues her walk
• Walks nicely on the lead and is often off-lead – she stays close and checks in regularly
• Knows several commands: sit, lay down, bridge (between legs), wait, stop, come
• Very food-motivated and loves working 🦴
• Can be stubborn, especially if she senses inconsistency
• Still reactive to other dogs at close distance, but has made significant progress and needs someone committed to continuing this work
• Can live with a calm, large male dog
• Crate trained, settles well in her kennel
• Calm, clean, and well-mannered in the home
• Not suitable for homes with young children – adults or children 16+ only
Additional Information:
Currently based in Warrington, North West England
Walked regularly, including outings with a dog walker
Has a structured and balanced daily routine
