❤️ **PADDY – OUR MUCH-LOVED 6-YEAR-OLD COCKER SPANIEL LOOKING FOR HIS VERY SPECIAL FOREVER HOME** ❤️
This is one of the hardest things we have ever had to write.
Paddy is our beautiful, loving 6-year-old Cocker Spaniel who has been a huge part of our family since 2020. He is not a dog we ever imagined we would have to re-home and we are absolutely heartbroken at the thought of saying goodbye to him.
Paddy is the most loving, affectionate and cuddly boy. He adores his humans and would happily spend his days curled up beside you, snuggled on the sofa or tucked up in bed. If there is a lap, a cosy blanket or a warm spot next to you, Paddy will find it! 🥰
He has such a funny and quirky personality and is a real character. One of our favourite things about him is the way he talks to you in his own little way. He has his own noises and ways of letting you know exactly what he thinks, and he will make you smile every single day.
He loves attention, affection and being part of family life. He loves children and has always been wonderful with people. He is the kind of dog who will give you his whole heart and become your shadow. He absolutely thrives on human company and affection and, in return, will love you unconditionally.
Sadly, Paddy has recently started having problems with his older brother and has been falling out with our Maine Coon cat. This is completely out of character from the loving dog we know, but it means we can no longer safely have him living alongside our other animals.
For this reason, Paddy MUST be the only pet in his new home. We will not consider a home with other dogs, cats or other pets. We believe that being the only pet will allow him to relax, feel secure and have all the love and attention focused on him.
This is not a decision we are making lightly. We are incredibly reluctant to let him go and will be devastated to say goodbye, but our priority has to be finding Paddy a home where he can be happy, safe and completely loved like we have loved him.
He is a pedigree Cocker Spaniel, although he has never been Kennel Club registered as we have never bred from him and never intended to.
We are looking for someone who understands that Paddy isn't simply a dog looking for a new home, he is our much-loved family member who deserves someone who will love him just as much as we have.

👧 He loves children.
🐾 He loves his humans and being involved in family life.
🛋️ He is happiest cuddled up beside you.
🥰 He is affectionate, loving and incredibly loyal.
🗣️ He has a wonderfully quirky personality and “talks” in his own special way!
We will be very careful about who Paddy goes to. We want to meet potential adopters and make sure that we genuinely feel they are the right person or family for him. We will not simply hand him over to the first person who enquires.
We have loved Paddy since the day he came into our lives, and although this breaks our hearts, we want to do what is right for him.
