🦜 4-Year-Old Male Medium Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo – £2,500
A very special, funny and incredibly characterful boy looking for the right experienced home.
He is 4 years old, talks, loves being out of his cage and absolutely adores cuddles and head scratches from his chosen person. He tends to be more fond of women and can form a very strong bond with the person he chooses.
He is not bird-aggressive in any way, but he is very much a one-to-one bird. He would thrive in a calm, quiet household where he can have plenty of individual attention and interaction with his owner.
He can become overstimulated by too much noise or activity and can suddenly turn if he becomes overwhelmed, so it is extremely important that his new owner understands cockatoo body language, boundaries and behaviour.
⚠️ HE IS NOT A FIRST BIRD.
He needs an experienced cockatoo/parrot owner who understands the commitment, intelligence, strength and sometimes challenging behaviour that comes with these birds. He is not suitable for someone looking to get their first parrot.
He absolutely loves being out of his cage and involved with his person. In the right home, with someone who understands him and gives him the attention he needs, he is an incredibly rewarding companion.

Identification: I purchased him from a pet shop and he was not rung when I bought him. I do not know why this was not done, so prospective buyers should be aware of this.
