Description
Here we have Ghost a nearly 2 yo lurcher, his mum's a full Saluki and his dad a Saluki x Gryhound. He's looking for a 5 🌟 companion home with someone ideally retired and as plenty of time on their hands to give him the full attention he craves. A little bit of a sad story for him early in life being that he broke his leg at 12 month old, an unfortunate accident doing zoomies whilst playing with his friends. 12 months on and after a few set backs along the way he is finally on the other side. All treatments and rehab now complete and he's back to his usual cheeky self running rings around everyone and thing. There is 10 dogs in the household altogether and other than the pups all compete in different disciplines and spend a lot of weekends away at events. Due to the leg break it's been decided not to allow him to compete as it would be reckless if anything happened and he was to experience further trauma. The issue is he doesn't understand this and in his head he's just a normal dog full of beans wanting to pleasure everyone. So to take him away and leave him secured in his crate whilst all his mates are having fun is a form of cruelty to him and the decision to do right by him and not myself had to be made. What this cheeky chap has to offer is incredible, such an happy boy full of love and just loves life. The injury did set him back behaviour wise and he is very wary around strangers until he gets to know them, can be reactive now to strange dogs albeit after putting a lot of training into him lately he's come on leeps and bounds. He is as strong as an ox and very prey driven so his new home not only needs to be right for him but for you too. Once settled with plenty of love, good grub, training and excercise he will make the best companion and be the most loyal 4 legged friend to anyone. He dose come with his quirks but also as a lot to offer in return. Serious enquires only, retired, semi retired, plenty of land to exercise and knowledgeable with the saluki breed non negotiable. May need to do a couple of introductions and a few local walks which is absolutely fine. In no rush to see him go and would rather that than him go to the wrong home. Fully house trained.
