This is my precious bearded dragon girl 🦎❤️ and writing this is definitely not an easy one for me. I rehabilitated her after she had a really poor start to life. She had been passed around different homes and, incredibly, was mistakenly put in the rubbish twice when she was brumating 😢 I’ve had her for around 5 years now and believe she’s approximately 7 years old. Bearded dragons can live for around 10–15 years or even longer with excellent care, so hopefully she still has plenty of happy years ahead of her. She’s come such a long way from the dragon I originally took in and I’m incredibly proud of the rehabilitation I’ve done with her. She’s now a very calm, content and settled girl. She is definitely a little lady who appreciates her own space 😂 She prefers being in her enclosure rather than constantly being handled or taken out, so I’m looking for someone who understands and respects that. She’s perfect for someone who loves these beautiful animals and is happy simply appreciating her, interacting with her on her terms and giving her a fantastic environment. That said, she does have her adventurous side! In the warmer summer weather she has enjoyed coming out on walks with me, sitting attached to my shoulder while I’m out with the dogs 🐕🦎❤️ Knowledge and previous experience with bearded dragons is an absolute must for me. I won’t be letting her go to just anyone and finding the right home is far more important than finding one quickly. She will come with everything needed for her care, including her equipment, heat lights, UVB, supplements and supplies, so whoever takes her on will have everything required to continue the standard of care she is accustomed to. The only reason I’m having to consider letting her go is because ORLAGH’S is expanding and I desperately need to create dedicated office space. Unfortunately that means making some really difficult decisions about space at home. After everything she went through before coming to me, knowing where she ends up and how she will be cared for is incredibly important to me. I’ve spent five years giving her the stability and care she deserved, and I want her next home to be her forever home ❤️ If you genuinely understand bearded dragons, respect that she enjoys her independence and think you could offer this beautiful girl the home she deserves, please message me and tell me a little about yourself and your experience with them.
