Unfortunately, through absolutely no fault of her own, we are having to part ways with our little Ember
F1 Mini Cockapoo, Chocolate with white patch on chest and paw
•Beautiful, kind & energetic 1 1/2 year old girl who is very playful and loves snuggles.
•She sleeps through the night and is not protective over anything.
•She loves people & children, we have a daughter who has loved playing with her.
•Her recall is good
•She really loves big runs, she is incredibly fast, loves chasing after balls/agility style activities and always really enjoys herself
•Eats relatively well - can be a little fussy but we have found some food she seems to have settled on and does sometimes want company to eat her meals
•Not allergic to anything we've noticed and has no known health issues.
•She loves relaxing with us in the evenings with a bone/kong/lick mat and snuggling up with us.
•She has noticeably calmed down over the past few months.
•Has been going to the groomer since she was a puppy and never had any problems, will let us wash/brush her quite happily with the encouragement of a lick mat and treats
•Also stayed at a kennel a few times for about a week at a time which went well and she was happy & enjoyed herself
Has not yet been spade, she had her first season in August, was so good at cleaning herself.
She is very excitable, very bouncy and can jump really high, which we have worked hard to train her not to do it with us but with visitors she is still very excited - we have found having a kong or lick mat a great way to distract her so that once she’s finished she’s more calm to say hello to guests in the house.
Unfortunately, we have had some unpleasant experiences with other dogs on walks when she was about 8 months old, so since, she does bark at other dogs but never been aggressive.
We have had many play dates with friends & family dogs and think with more socialising she would actually really thrive off of other dogs company.
My husband unfortunately has recently had to change jobs - going from working at home to being in the office every day so life has unfortunately really changed for Ember, now spending week days alone at home, which is not the life we ever wanted for her.
This left us with the incredibly difficult decision to find her another family.
We have explored all avenues, but we cannot commit to her going forward and we just want her to have the best life as she's an absolute angel.
