Loving, affectionate Border Collie looking for a home that understands the breed and can give her the time, patience and exercise she deserves. Born 14/03/2025, she is still a young dog with lots of energy and a brilliant willingness to learn. At home she’s incredibly affectionate and loves a good fuss. She enjoys being brushed (including having her teeth brushed because she loves the mint toothpaste!) and is happiest when she’s close to her people. She absolutely loves to play. Tug, fetch, chasing a football in the garden, carrying sticks on walks - if it involves play, she is all in. She already knows several tricks, including sit, down, middle, reverse, bang and sit pretty. She will happily wait for her food or treats until given permission, and she can usually wait for toys too… although if she’s particularly excited, she gets what we call her “bee sting lips” and her self-control is tested😂 She can be wary of new people coming into her home and will need slow, positive introductions. On walks she’s very enthusiastic and can pull on the lead because she’s excited and wants to investigate everything around her. I’m looking for a home that will continue her training, understand that she’s still young and learning, and give her the structure and love she deserves. This is an incredibly difficult decision, so her new home is far more important than anything else. I won’t be rushing into choosing the right family for her. A little about Daisy: * Born 14/03/2025 * Toilet trained * Crate trained * Not spayed * Can comfortably be left for up to 5 hours * Eats dry food with water added * Loves walks, enrichment and interactive games
