Sadly, after five weeks in a home placement, things havenāt worked out for Bruno and he is now looking for a new home that can truly understand and support his needs.
Bruno is a 2-year-old male Labrador Retriever who sadly lost his original owner around seven weeks ago. We understand that his previous life was one of turmoil and unpredictability, and he has had a lot of change to cope with in a very short space of time.
When Bruno first arrived with us, he wasnāt a very confident dog. Heās come on so far now though and he is such a brilliant dog.
Weāve changed a few things ā we are now hand feeding him, playing tug, doing heel and lead work and he is really improving and becoming more confident. He needs a super home. He is a gentle soul and heās now like a new dog.
We are looking for a calm home, that has Labrador breed understanding. Children should be 8-10+, and be dog savvy.
Bruno did previously live with cats, however we arenāt sure on how much involvement there was. We have not cat tested him at the rescue, so are stating he is not cat tested for this reason.
He is a wall flower and would rather disappear than confront. He will flourish in a home that is willing to work with him and work him to become the dog he is capable of.
Bruno is crate trained, toilet trained, can switch off and walks beautifully on the lead.
