It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my best friend Ralph. Due to a divorce and relocation, I can no longer give him the life he deserves, and it’s important to me that he finds a home that appreciates his "unique" charms.
Age: 6 years young.
Breed: 75% Pug, 25% Poodle (100% character, 0% brain cells).
Skills: Professional snacking, world-class snoring, and impressive swimmer.
The Personality:
He is a total love-bug who is friendly to everyone he meets. He lives for back scratches and will reward you with a series of delightful grunts. He loves fetch, but don’t expect a tactical mastermind—he’s all heart and no thoughts!
Social Life:
He can be a bit vocal (the Pug Scream/Bark) when he sees other dogs from a distance, but don’t let that fool you. As soon as he gets to say hello, he is a friend to all.
The Maintenance:
Being a distinguished puggy gentleman, he is prone to weight gain and dirty ears. I clean them every other week to keep him happy and healthy, so he needs a family who is happy to keep up with his routine. You would also need to be mindful of too many snacks to help mind his waistline.
The Ideal Home:
He just wants to be where the people are. If you have a sofa, a snack, and a spare hand for scratches, you’re his hero. He loves children and they make him very excited to play. Mixes well with all other dogs and he has quite a submissive personality in a pack. Has also lived with a cat who has had to tolerate many pug kisses.
