Lior is a stunning 9-month-old TICA-registered Maine Coon with beautiful white, blue and silver-tabby markings that continue to develop as he grows. He has gorgeous tabby features running through his coat and tail, and a magnificent fluffy tail that's nearly as long as he is. Whilst he's still very much in his awkward teenage phase, his impressive Maine Coon mane is already starting to come through.
His mum is a beautiful blue tabby Maine Coon and his dad is a striking white and red Maine Coon who weighed over 14kg at just three years old. Lior is already over 5kg and is expected to grow into a large adult cat.
Lior has a fantastic character and is incredibly people-orientated. He loves being involved in whatever you're doing and will often follow you from room to room simply because he wants to be near you. If he's asleep and you move, he'll often wake up and come looking for you so he can stay close by.
He is intelligent, curious and full of personality. He loves carrying his toys around the house, enjoys playing fetch, and has a particular obsession with spring toys. He also loves toys that move, especially his flapping bird toy, which will go with him to his new home.
One of his favourite games is jumping into an empty bath with his spring toys and batting them around for ages. In the evenings he often chooses to sleep in the bath or sink, so don't be surprised if he decides the bathroom belongs to him!
Lior enjoys exploring and loves a little adventure. I've recently introduced him to some harness training and a few simple commands, which he is slowly starting to take to. He's a very clever cat, but at nine months old he's still a bundle of enthusiasm and energy, so his training is very much a work in progress.
He uses his litter tray perfectly, enjoys both wet and dry food, and absolutely loves his water fountain. He drinks very well and always keeps himself hydrated.
As a typical young Maine Coon, Lior is extremely playful, active and energetic. He loves climbing, exploring, hunting toys and being involved in everything around him. He would benefit from a larger home with plenty of space to run, play and satisfy his curiosity. Cat trees, climbing opportunities and interactive play would suit him perfectly.
The reason for rehoming is through no fault of his own. Unfortunately, my older resident cat is now a senior cat with very different needs and energy levels. Lior desperately wants companionship, interaction and play, while my older cat prefers a much quieter lifestyle.
Despite giving the situation time and trying everything possible, it has become clear that they are simply not the right match for each other. Lior would be much happier in a home that can better meet his social and play needs.
Lior would be best suited to:

>A household where he will receive lots of attention, interaction and play.
>A home with another young, confident cat that enjoys rough-and-tumble play and matches his energy levels.
>Or as an only cat with owners who have plenty of time to dedicate to him.

This is a heartbreaking decision as Lior is a much-loved member of the family. He is not being rehomed because there is anything wrong with him. He is a wonderful, affectionate and highly social young Maine Coon who simply needs more companionship, stimulation and play than my current household can provide.
Finding the right home is my absolute priority. I would like to know a little about any potential home, previous experience with cats and the type of environment Lior would be living in. More photos and videos are available to genuine enquiries, and occasional updates after rehoming would be greatly appreciated.
Only genuine enquiries from people able to offer a loving, permanent home will be considered.
This is an incredibly difficult decision, and finding the right home for Lior is far more important to me than a quick sale.
