Hi! My names Darwin. I am around 48 years old. My daddy past away in 2020 and I moved in with my aunt! But she's now very tired an poorly in hospital allot. It gets rather lonely when she's away. I love showers. Music. Food. I like shouting while your eating to get some extra! I'll let you scratch my head. And when im feeling brave get on my aunts hand. But then I get scared and run off.
I am rehoming Darwin. A beautiful blue fronted amazon parrot. Im no longer well enough to look after him as I have multiple sclerosis. I only took him on temporary until we found him a permanent home but that changed to permanent as I dont want him to move from pillow to post. You must have experience with parrots as he is a typical noisey messy boy! But so comical. He shouts hello, sarah, oi, what you doing. The rest is load screeches. Argues and dances with me. He snores an sound like a old lady muttering at times.
He is around 48 years old.
I call him he but dont think he was ever sexed.
He needs his beak trimming every 9 months or so. I take him to vets4pets to do that. Costs around £30. PLEASE if you dont like a noisy parrot dont get him. He is very load at times. An sometimes it can be daily loudness.
Im only rehoming him because im too ill to look after him. Im having to move to a bungalow as soon as possible. I think he will be too noisey for the neighbours. Im also away in hospital allot an its no longer healthy for him to spend them periods alone.
