I have a rengnecke parrot. He is 8 months old.I don't have much time for it, it's very smart and playful. It's gaining trust and communicating with people. It comes out of the cage and comes back in again by itself and He eats apples from my hand twice every day. It's just getting used to me, but unfortunately I don't have enough time to take care of it. It's very calm and quiet. Sometimes it plays in the cage by itself. It loves pomegranates and apples.
