Description

3 year old Jack Russell / Corgi cross Bruno is a wonderful dog, he is handsome, very smart and learns incredibly fast, he would make a fabulous agility dog. We have had Bruno from a puppy and he is almost 3. He has grown up in our house with our 2 children, our other dog, 2 adult cats, kittens, horses and sheep. He is very friendly with all of them although will try and chase the horses if allowed so needs to be fenced in. Bruno is hugely affectionate and is very much my dog, he tends to be my shadow and follows me around the house even if I’m just popping into another room for a second. He loves cuddles and being made a fuss of. He is a brilliant guard dog and will not yap unnecessarily, if he barks in the night we know it’s because one of the ponies have escaped or there is a deer in the garden! Bruno is very much a farm dog and is not used to being walked on the lead or taken out and about. We walk him twice a day across fields and he is off the lead the whole time. He will run all over the place but always keeps us in his sights and will follow and stay with us. When on the lead Bruno is very reactive and will bark and be aggressive towards other people and dogs. The reason for us rehoming is him that he can be snappy with the children and their friends. He is very barky when people come over to the house, he settles eventually with adults but will keep lunging for children given the chance. He is fine the majority of the time with my own children so long as they don’t disturb him when he is sleeping. I am not in any rush to rehome him and will only do so if the right person comes along. I think he would make a fabulous agility dog in a quiet adult only household. Please get in touch if you are interested.
