Description
Beautiful Stella is a wonderful, loving companion who is sadly looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She was originally adopted from one of the shelters we work with in Spain by a retired couple in Glasgow.
Unfortunately, Stella’s family have found that they are travelling much more than they expected and Stella does not cope well with kennels. Because of this, they feel she would be much happier in a home where someone is around most of the time and she doesn’t have to spend long periods alone.
Stella has just turned 3 years old and is a gentle, affectionate girl once she forms a bond. She can be a little shy and nervous when meeting people for the first time, but she warms up quickly and becomes extremely loving and loyal.
She is good with other dogs and has also lived comfortably with cats. Stella is good on the lead, travels well in the back seat of the car and has a good recall. She is also good with children.
Stella can struggle with anxiety if left alone and she does not like being confined in kennels, where she can become stressed and reluctant to eat. In a calm home environment she settles well and eats normally.
Stella would thrive in a patient, understanding home where someone is around for much of the day and can help her feel safe and secure. Once she relaxes and trusts you, she is an incredibly loving dog who enjoys companionship and being part of family life.
She will make a beautiful companion for someone looking for a loyal dog to share their home, sofa and daily walks with.
In the first instance please send us some basic information about your home — who makes up the family, whether you live in a house or apartment, whether you have a secure garden, and your usual working patterns.
All of our dogs are fully blood tested (including Brucella), vaccinated, spayed or neutered, treated for worms, fleas and ticks, and travel with passports and DEFRA import documentation.
