Yes despite, all precautions, to prevent this pregnancy, even taking Aurora away from the boys for the first 15 days, then sharing my bedroom office with her for the next 5 days, she with Mother Nature behind her all the way, escaped my bedroom, jumped, 3 fences and was not noticed, until we rang the dinner bell at 6pm, then up she trotted, from the boyzone with Latte. My reaction Oh my Goodness, she is day 20, Nah, couldn't be, but she was!
So two golden rules of Rough Collie breeding were broken in the UK.
1. She had been bred and delivered, puppies, within a 12 month period of the last litter.
2. As a Blue Merle, she had been bred to a Sable White Dog. So pigment of colour could become an issue.
Hence this litter is a multi rainbow coloured litter. Beautiful in colour, best of health, but rules are rules and when breached you have to fess up.
Therefore, these babies are being sold, for £1000 less than our normal price and we do not wish you to breed puppies from this litter when they are adults, They are a Sable/Merle and we do not want someone taking the breed further down the wrong road in colour .
What comes to you with our puppy? They are treated with the same diligence care and love. Everything we offer with all of our puppies, Love, cuddles, interaction, age relevance play and stimulations. Weaning with our level 3 ofqual staff, socialising, opening up to them what the world of a loving family has to offer. Caring, that by the time you received your puppy that it is ready for the world and living in a family home.
They have been handled from birth, played sounds to desensitise to every day sounds, taught recall as soon as they can hear, and respond to us, they will be taken from walks in the puppy pram from 5 weeks old. We put everything we can into assuring that we can hand you a well balanced, well adjusted puppy who you will want to share in its life, for all of its life.
This will be Aurora's last litter, despite the fact that to us, she is the best friend, mother, pack member, mentor, Alpha, she cannot be allowed to wear her body out, its why the law has to be enforced, as we believe she would be a bitch that keeps wanting to be a Mother. She has at least given 4 breeding M/F dogs in her previous litters and started new generation of breeder, Ethical, lawful breeders, who will put their dogs and customer's welfare first. Who will go on to breed, top health, clear, non-carriers, of the common genetic disorders. She has bred with us for the future, carrying through her charming nature and beauty. We love her so much and it will be sad that she will not have more puppies, but we have to think of her health, she has done her bit for the breed.
