Description

This is my beautiful baby girl, Darseen. She is a Bea chocolate brown and white British shorthair with the most beautiful orange eyes. She was born on 13 October 2025 and has a German passport. Writing this genuinely breaks my heart. Darseen has been such a huge part of my life, and she is one of the sweetest, kindest and most loving cats I have ever known. She is an incredibly gentle girl and loves being close to her person. One of her favourite things is sleeping in the same bed as you, and she will happily curl up beside you and keep you company. She is truly the light of my life, which is why finding her the right home is so important to me. I am looking for a serious and responsible owner who has experience with cats and is committed to looking after her properly, including keeping up with her veterinary care. Ideally, I would like her to go to a home where she will be the only cat. Darseen has been diagnosed with calicivirus, so she should not live with other cats as there is a risk of transmission, particularly during a flare-up. Her calicivirus mainly causes occasional flare-ups of mouth ulcers and gum inflammation when she is under stress. She does have medication for these flare-ups, but it is not something she needs to take regularly. She only receives it when she has symptoms. Her condition does not mean she needs constant veterinary treatment for the virus itself, but she does need an owner who understands her condition and will take her to the vet when necessary. At the moment, my main concern for her has been her stomach. She recently had a parasite issue and has already been seen by a vet and received medication for parasites and worms. I have been told that some of the digestive symptoms can take a few weeks to fully settle after treatment. I want to be completely transparent about this so that whoever takes her understands her current situation and is prepared to continue monitoring her and seek veterinary advice if needed. The reason I am looking to rehome Darseen is unfortunately because I am no longer able to keep up with the cost of her ongoing veterinary care. This is not a decision I am making lightly at all. I want her to go to someone who can give her the stability, attention and veterinary care that she deserves. She will come with absolutely everything she needs, including: • All of her toys • Her cat tree • Litter box • Two carriers • Food and food bowls • Her medication • Brushes and grooming supplies • Nail clippers • And everything else I currently have for her I am not looking for just anyone to take her. I want to find someone who genuinely loves cats, has experience caring for them, understands her condition and is willing to give her a safe, loving and permanent home. Darseen is a very special girl and deserves nothing less. I would much rather take my time finding the right person than rush her into a home that isn’t suitable. open to price negotiation with the right person
