Description
This is Hunter. He is 10 months old. He is a pure breed Weimaraner, doesn't have papers. He is fully vaccinated up-to-date, microchipped, flea treated and wormed.
We got Hunter to integrate into our family, he has been a very welcome addition but we will be completely honest, we are overwhelmed and struggling to keep up with his everyday. He is very very very loved and it's been a hard decision but we feel for him it is best in a home where he has more space, can have the constant attention he desires and have freedom.
His personality is one of affection, love, loyalty and being by your side. He is so fun, loveable and just bonkers.
He can be left for short periods of time, he will initially bark but stops after a minute or 2. He cannot be left for longer than maybe around 3 hours alone.
He is a very energetic dog, we walk him around 3 miles a day but we know he could and would do more.
He is very loyal and has been around cats and our children 15 & 6.
He doesn't have any allergies we have come across although we notice he can't eat too much raw, only little and seldom.
We found after trial and error that he sits best with Lily's Kitchen puppy food.
He is great off the lead, recall and general outdoor obedience. He is very highly food motivated and it really makes for easy training with him.
Hunter would best benefit from a home where he can be the centre of your world and have the attention all to himself. If you are a home of a family, he could integrate well but would definitely need more space to roam. We wouldn't let him go to a small home with babies/toddlers, not because he has any bad tendencies towards children, mainly because how he bounds around in excitement and can knock a smaller child over.
Hopefully it can be understood we are being honest and no excuses of wanting to re-home Hunter, we are open to any questions that may not have been covered.
We would like the buyer to be able to come visit and spend a little time with Hunter beforehand so he is familiar and maybe have a walk with him and if possible us to come and see where Hunter will be going.
We really want the best for him and will only consider someone who will have his best interests at heart no matter how long it takes to find that for him.
We would include with him his bed, lots of toys, training lead, 30m extending lead, no pull harness and his blankey and the load of food and kibble we have for him.
Please enquire only if serious about dedicating time and effort đź’– fee can be discussed although the fee isn't a huge factor for us, the right home and right person/persons are our main focus.
