The reason for rehome is at no fault of Nacho’s, there have been a few significant changes to our home life since the end months of 2025 and some unfortunate decisions have had to be made. He is well loved and priced to secure a good loving home.
Nacho is a KC registered Long haired Chihuahua.
Nacho is a loved family pet. He was born 30/11/2023 can came to live with us in Feb 2025. He has been raised by us since a small puppy and has a very loving personality. He is very small in size around 2.5kg. He is used to being around other dogs both big and small. He has no preference for men or women. He is good with small children. He is a super cuddly dog and would often prefer to be on someone’s lap or in their arms but also enjoys playing and going for walks. He is used to having lead walks but also loves freedom to run (will try and slip out of his harness). Nacho is crate trained so used to sleeping in a crate at night but also loves sleeping with a human from time to time.
Vaccinations- lepto 4 and DHP were received April 2025 so she is up to date on all vaccinations.
Flea treatment- has been regularly flea’d using vet prescribed flea treatment on a month basis- this is due on 12th April and will be administered. Any remaining treatments prescribed for Nacho will be given to new owner.
Wormer- this is also done through vet prescription however this is a 3 months treatment. Due to be given April Will be administered when received from vets.
Health record- Nacho has been fully insured with pet plan and register at our local vets since we came to own him. There has been no claims made on his insurance and no health concerns raised by the vets. Full vet medical history will be provided to the new owner. Unfortunately insurance policy’s can not be transferred to new owners- if you would like to insure him a new policy will need to be obtained. A transfer to new vets is a simple process my vets will request my verbal consent for this.
Neutering- Nacho is an intact male Chihuahua. He can be neutered by new owner.
Coat and grooming- Long haired Chihuahuas require regular grooming, this includes a good coat management routine at home. Nacho has regularly visited a groomer while he has been with us for a small tidy up when needed and the groomer has no concerns.
Diet and exercise- Nacho is currently raw fed and has approximately 100 grams per day this can be altered to maintain a good weight. He has been fed on kibble and wet dogs food as well. Should you wish to change his diet once settled this will be easy to do. Nacho has no allergies- is used to having conventional and natural dogs treats. Enjoys a variety but rabbit ears are a favourite. Nacho is used to being out in a large garden several times per day and enjoys walks in our local dog park and coastal path walks.
Nacho will come to his new home with the following:
- Full vet history, including vaccination record.
- Any outstanding flea and worming treatments.
- 3kg of raw- 30 days food
-Her crate and bedding that she is used to.
- A treat bag- packed with all her favourites.
- A toy
- Microchipped- with pet log which can be transferred to new owner on their website this will incur a fee for new owner.
