Experienced Rabbit Home Only: Bonded Pair Seeking Spacious Natural Setup 🐇🐇 After a great deal of thought, I am looking for an exceptional new home for my much-loved bonded pair of rabbits. This is a welfare-led rehoming, and finding the right home is far more important than finding a quick one. * One doe and one buck * Mixed breed * Born 31 May 2024 * Both neutered and fully vaccinated * Healthy, active and very closely bonded About them These two are full of character and spend their days racing around, exploring and performing joyful binkies. They are not rabbits who enjoy being picked up (especially the doe), but they are affectionate in their own gentle way and love nose strokes and cheek rubs once they know and trust you. They currently have a generous setup: a large hutch with permanent access day and night to a secure 3m × 5m roof terrace. They are used to having substantial space and freedom, so I am looking for a home that can offer at least the same amount of room, and ideally much more. One of their favourite activities is digging in a large pot of soil, so they would particularly enjoy an environment with grass, earth or another natural substrate rather than a fully paved or indoor-only setup. The home I am looking for Ideally they would move to a home with: * A large, secure outdoor enclosure with plenty of room to run, explore and dig * Grass or natural ground (earth/turf) rather than concrete throughout * Excellent predator protection (fox-proof and secure from above as well as below) * Daily interaction and attentive care * Someone with good rabbit knowledge or previous experience keeping rabbits A rural or suburban home with a spacious garden would be wonderful, but the most important thing is the quality of the accommodation and care. Their routine They eat unlimited hay, a measured amount of pellets, fresh grass and leafy greens daily, with fruit only as an occasional treat. They are clean, active and accustomed to living together. Why I am rehoming them I care deeply about these rabbits and believe they would thrive in a more natural environment with secure outdoor space and opportunities to dig and graze. This is a difficult decision made entirely with their long-term welfare in mind.
