Description
Raegan is a female with an estimated birth date of February 2025. She travelled from kennels in Romania in July 2025 to our Essex kennels. She is microchipped and vaccinated but not spayed due to her age. She has no known health issues.
Raegan was initially given a space at our Essex kennels with her brother Morgan, they both moved to separate foster homes to help them learn about being in one before adoption.
Raegan is a lovely girl to someone she builds a bond with but is nervous of strangers she can show guarding behaviours toward her home and her favourite person this is directed at other people and not dogs. She can be reactive with this. She seems to be doing this out of fear rather than aggression but will need continued work. She will do better in a home with fewer people and not many visitors. She did meet an 8 year old in Romania and although good with them due to her guarding we believe older children 14+ would be better for her in the home. She is very good with other dogs and does not guard toward them but is fed separately as she is currently living with a large amount of dogs and they all are fed separated tis may need to continue in a new home depending on her behaviour once closer together. She would do better in a home with other dogs as they help settle her. But someone able to dedicate time to her and help with training for her guarding would be considered too. She met a cat whilst at kennels and showed indifference toward them she could live with dog savvy cats.
Raegan is toilet and crate trained. She wears a harness whilst out and walks well she is doing well with other unknown things around her when she's with confident dogs. She showed anxiety when left alone previously but in her foster home she can be left with other dogs for up to 4 hours, if she was living without dogs any alone time would need to be built up gradually. She sleeps well overnight in the fosters room but in a dog bed or with other dogs dotted around the home. She travels well in the boot of the car with no travel sickness. She has not been destructive.
Reagans foster says 'Reagan is a dear little dog, she’s feisty and full Of personality . She loves living with other dogs but is not so confident with humans ( besides me ) . She plays all day and is a typical cute puppy'.
