🏔️ MEET BORYS
We are delighted to introduce Borys, the last remaining puppy from our carefully planned “B” Litter of Polish Tatra Shepherds.
Borys is a beautiful, affectionate and incredibly cuddly young male who has a wonderful character and a real zest for life.
He is very much a people puppy — he loves being close to us, enjoys his cuddles and is always ready for a game.
Looks-wise, Borys is the absolute image of his beautiful mum. He really is like her little clone! 🤍
Although he is currently still a puppy, he has the potential to become a very substantial adult male. His older half-brother Ares from our first “A” Litter is already around 55 kg at 13 months old, giving a good indication of the size and presence Borys may develop into.

Borys has a particularly lovely temperament and is a joy to have around.
He is:

And he has definitely decided that he is part of the household workforce!
Borys loves being involved when I am cooking and is always very interested in what is happening in the kitchen. He also thinks that helping to load and unload the dishwasher is an essential part of his job! 😂
He has a lovely balance of the calm, gentle nature expected of a Tatra while still being a playful young dog who enjoys life and being around his people.
🤍 WHY IS BORYS STILL AVAILABLE?
Borys is not still looking for his home because there is anything wrong with him.
Quite the opposite.
We have had interest from a number of families and have already turned down several homes because we believe finding the right match is far more important than simply placing a puppy quickly.
The Polish Tatra Shepherd is a rare and special breed, and we take the responsibility of finding the right lifelong home for each of our puppies very seriously.
For us, it is about finding the right family for Borys and the right dog for that family.
We are therefore happy to take our time and speak with prospective owners about their lifestyle, home, experience and expectations.
🏔️ ABOUT THE POLISH TATRA SHEPHERD
The Polish Tatra Shepherd Dog (Owczarek Podhalański) is an ancient livestock guardian breed originating from the Tatra Mountains of southern Poland.
Closely related to the Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Maremma Sheepdog, Slovak Cuvac and Hungarian Kuvasz, these magnificent dogs have protected livestock and families for centuries.
They are renowned for their:

Borys is currently the only puppy from our B Litter still available.
