Description
I’m looking for the perfect home for my 2-year-old German Shepherd. This is a very hard decision, but unfortunately he is not getting along with his mum who also lives at home, so I want the best for him.
✨ About him:
• Large, strong boy – approx. 50kg
• Neutered
• Fully vaccinated, flea & worming treatments up to date
• House trained and lives indoors
• Travels very well in crate
• Great recall and walks nicely to heel
• Has been trained as a working dog, but is just as happy living a relaxed home life
💛 Temperament:
• Extremely loving – enjoys cuddles on the sofa
• Fantastic with children (best suited to older kids due to his size)
• Very loyal and protective – will alert you to anyone at the door or in the garden or to close to the home
• Loves attention and being around people he is still very much a baby and not fully matured
• Does not like cats or pigeons for some unknown reason
• Can bark at other dogs on walks, but this is just a front – once introduced he is friendly and would rather avoid confrontation can be funny around some males but gets on fine with males at home he has literally just started disliking his mum and she is getting older and I don’t want it to turn in to a fight and either get hurt so would rather rehome him to his forever home
🐶 Home requirements:
• Ideally an only dog due to current situation but
• Could live with other dogs with the right, careful introduction
• No homes with cats
• Needs an experienced, committed home that understands the breed and will give him the love he deserves
This is a cracking dog and a truly stunning boy. He will not be rehomed just anywhere – finding the right home is my top priority.
