Sane and sensible - whilst raw and ready for a career meet ‘ Samson’
16.2hh, 6yo gelding retiring injury free from racing, as it’s just not the job for him! Sam has no lumps,bumps or blemishes nor vices. However, he does have very very mild string halt - of no clinical significance and is not going to stop him being suitable for the allrounder purpose.
Sam is kind and affectionate in and out of the stable and is easy to do everything with. Farriers favourite and the yard girls ride of choice. Every yard needs a Sam. He lives in or out. Travels on a trailer or lorry. Very good doer and low maintenance to keep at the yard.
Sam is an exceptional flashy mover on the flat. He is beginning to understand working into a contact and shows real potential to be a super contender for some low level dressage with further production of course!Recently we have introduced Sam to coloured poles aswell as logs ect out hacking. He has proven to be extremely brave and willing of everything we have asked of him. He is certainly a clever chap that picks things up easily and enjoys having a jump. Sam enjoys his hacking out. A super nanny horse in traffic as he has proven to be bold and happy to lead.
We think Sam would make a super all rounder/ pleasure horse. Although he is very much safe and sane he is very forward going and would be far too much engine for anyone nervous or a novice. I can see him being a fantastic partner in crime on the hunting field and I hope to be lucky enough to get him out myself.
The longer he stays with us his price will increase as we will get more miles on the clock and take him out and about with us.
A lot of horse for very little money due to being very busy with a long waiting list.
