We have a beautiful litter of Labrador × Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies, combining two wonderful breeds known for their intelligence, loyalty and affectionate nature.
Our puppies are being raised in a loving family environment, surrounded by children and receiving plenty of attention and handling from an early age.

Beautiful glossy black coats, with some small white chest markings
Approximately 3 puppies currently appear to have the distinctive Rhodesian Ridgeback ridge, although this will be confirmed as they develop

❤️ Meet Mum & Dad
Mum – Rhodesian Ridgeback
Mum is our beautiful red Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is hip scored and health tested, KC Reg, intelligent, extremely loyal and incredibly affectionate with her family.
She has the Ridgeback's natural protective instincts and is a wonderful family guardian, while being loving and gentle with the children she knows.
Dad – Pedigree Fox Red Labrador
Dad is our gorgeous pedigree Fox Red Labrador, and quite possibly the biggest softie you'll ever meet!
He's calm, intelligent, affectionate and fantastic with children. A proper wet lettuce who loves nothing more than being around his family!
Both parents have wonderful individual personalities, and both can be seen with the puppies.
🖤 Why are the puppies black when both parents are red?
We've already had a few questions about this!
Although both parents have beautiful red coats, canine coat-colour genetics are fascinating.
Fox Red Labradors can carry genetic information for black pigment that isn't visible in their own coat. When crossed with a Rhodesian Ridgeback, the combination of genes can allow black pigment to be expressed in the puppies.
The result? Two red parents and a litter of gorgeous black babies!
Their coats may develop subtle changes in shading as they grow, but they are currently beautiful glossy black puppies.
🏡 Raised as part of our family
These puppies are being raised in our family home, with children and everyday household activity.
We want them to grow into confident, well-adjusted family companions and will be giving them plenty of appropriate handling, interaction and new experiences as they develop.
With Labrador and Ridgeback heritage, we expect them to grow into intelligent, athletic, affectionate dogs who will thrive in homes that can offer exercise, training, companionship and plenty of love.
As with any crossbreed, individual personalities will vary, and we're happy to help prospective owners get to know the puppies as they grow.
