We have shared his story before. We have told everyone what a wonderful boy he is. And yet, somehow, Tito remains almost invisible. No real interest. No family coming forward. Just another day passing for a lovely boy who has absolutely no idea that his whole world is about to change. And it breaks our hearts. 💙 Tito is not a puppy. He is not a tiny, fluffy, fashionable breed. He is simply a wonderful, intelligent, loyal dog who has spent the last five years being someone's much-loved companion. Five years ago, we found Tito a loving home. He was still young then, and for all these years, he has been happy and deeply loved. Sadly, following a relationship breakdown, his owner must move into a home with a cat. And because Tito has a strong prey drive, he cannot go with them. So here we are again, trying to find this beautiful boy another chance at happiness. 🐾 Meet Tito Tito is 6½ years old, a medium-sized, knee-height mixed-breed boy with a big heart and a clever mind. A DNA test revealed that he is around 52% German Shepherd, and he certainly inherited the intelligence, loyalty and enthusiasm for learning! He is affectionate, playful, wonderfully engaging and absolutely loves spending time with his people. ✨ Highlights ✨ • SIZE: Medium, knee-height – approx. 15–16 kg • NEUTERED: Yes • CHARACTER: Loving • Loyal • Intelligent • Playful • Affectionate • DOGS: Sociable during group walks and daycare; can be reactive on lead • CATS: No – strong prey drive • CHILDREN: Adult-only home preferred • HOME LIFE: Fully house-trained • Non-destructive • Settles beautifully at home • Can be left for short periods • ACTIVITY: Loves long walks, games, training and enrichment 🐾 More About Tito Do you know what makes Tito so special? He is already a wonderful companion at home. ❤️ He is fully house-trained, doesn't destroy things, settles happily after his walks and doesn't demand constant attention. But if you offer him a belly rub, he will certainly appreciate it! 😄 He loves learning new things and already knows sit, paw, lie down and even the lovely trick “in the middle”, where he walks between your legs. Treat mats, enrichment games, squeaky toys and a good game of tug are among his favourite things. And WALKS! Tito absolutely loves being outdoors. He currently enjoys around 1½–2 hours of walking daily, with longer adventures at weekends. He regularly attends doggy daycare and group walks in enclosed areas, where he enjoys socialising with other dogs. His family describes him beautifully: “Tito is playful and loving. He is very intelligent and loves to be challenged with games and training. He is reactive, but just needs to be told he is safe and for you to stand up for him. He then calms down. He loves a belly rub!” Tito can become anxious and reactive on lead around unfamiliar dogs (no aggression, but usual leash reactivity) , scooters and motorbikes, so he needs someone confident who can calmly guide him and continue positive training. He also finds screaming or running young children unsettling, which is why we are looking for an adult home. 🏡 The Home Tito Dreams Of We would love to find Tito an active, experienced family, ideally in a quieter rural or semi-rural area with lovely walking routes and a secure garden. He would be happiest as the only pet, with opportunities to enjoy suitable doggy friendships outside the home. Someone who loves walking, enjoys interacting with their dog and appreciates a clever, affectionate companion would be absolutely perfect. Tito doesn't need extraordinary things. He needs a stable home, enjoyable walks, some games to keep his clever brain busy, a comfortable place to sleep and, most importantly, people to love. 💙 💞 PLEASE, CAN SOMEONE FINALLY NOTICE TITO? We know that somewhere out there is a person who would absolutely adore this boy. Someone who would love having a loyal walking companion, a clever little training partner, a playful friend and an affectionate dog waiting to greet them every day.
