Description
Lila is a much loved female Persian (7 years old) with no health conditions.
She has lived with me since she was 3 years old and lived with a house rabbit and another cat. She has been a single cat for the past 2 years and prefers to be in a single cat household although she will tolerate other cats and rabbits (but will never be friends with them!).
She is very very affectionate and will sleep on your chest, lap and follow you around talking to you. She becomes very attached to her human and needs a quiet home where someone is home for most of the day. She prefers a secure outside space such as cat proof garden / catio and gets bored easily so needs a lot of play time with wand type toys - where she can run and chase and jump a metre in the air. She has such a sassy personality and it’s impossible not to completely fall in love with her.
I am rehoming her because I have a sensory neurodivergent condition and since moving to a smaller flat and returning to the office full time lila who has always been a vocal cat has become much more vocal (she will meow for attention), and this is very overwhelming for me and affecting my mental health.
She is vocal and chatty and it’s important any new owner is ok with that (she won’t meow at 5am or during the night so no worries on that front).
It’s important she goes to a home with no young children, ideally outside space, an adult at home most of the day who is able to play with her, chat with her and keep her company and who is patient and ok with a vocal cat (some people love a chatty cat!)
I would also want to stay in touch with any new owner.
Price is to ensure serious people apply only who can afford the costs that come with caring for a persian cat.
She is neutured microchipped but her vaccinations are not up to date (as she had been mostly indoors with access to the patio only, I hadn’t got round updating them).
She had a bout of cystsis 4 years ago but no health condition since or recurrence of her cystisis.
