Loving 2-Year-Old Male Dog Looking for a Wonderful Forever Home We are looking to find a loving forever home for our handsome 2-year-old boy. He has been raised in our family home since he was just 8 weeks old and has proven to be an exceptionally gentle, loving companion. Great with Family & Pets He is fantastic around children, having happily grown up alongside two kids (including one child with severe ASD). He is also wonderful with other pets, living peacefully with both a French Bulldog and a cat (although I'm not sure the Cat likes him). He has a soft, affectionate nature and loves being part of a family environment. Ideal Owner & Training Needs While he is wonderful in the house, he will need an active owner who can give him the dedicated time, energy, and training he needs outdoors: Lead Walking: He pulls strongly on the lead when outside as he tends to zone out around external distractions, so he needs a physically strong handler who can manage him comfortably. Recall & Focus: His recall requires further training and patience, as standard food treats are not strong motivators for him outdoors. Exercise: He needs a home with plenty of time and enthusiasm to provide him with regular active exercise. Reason for Rehoming This is a heartbreaking decision for our family. Due to an upcoming knee operation, my husband is unable to walk him, and as I am small, I struggle to manage his strength on walks. We have also had a couple of instances where he has managed to escape when the front door is opened, and then we've had trouble getting him back as he thinks he's in trouble. We want nothing more than to see him go to an active home where he can get the physical outlet and attention he truly deserves.
