5-year-old female Turkish Kangal looking for experienced rural home
She is a beautiful 5-year-old Turkish Kangal who needs a new home due to a change in personal circumstances. This is an extremely difficult decision and I am committed to finding her the right experienced home.
About Nefes:
• Very good with people and bonds strongly with her humans
• Typical guardian temperament – loyal, protective and intelligent
• Has been around some livestock and has never shown aggression toward them
• Not good with other dogs, but slow introductions could be made as we would love to her to have a friend
She is also muzzle trained
She also has seperation anxiety but if she has a secure outdoor space this will be easier to manage
Important notes:
Nefes is a powerful livestock guardian breed and needs an experienced owner who understands large guardian dogs. She can show redirection behaviour if highly aroused by something she cannot reach, so confident handling is essential.
