Description
We are sadly looking to rehome our lovely Ragdoll boy, Elvis. This has been a very difficult decision for our family, so we are only looking for a genuine and caring home.
Elvis is a very friendly and affectionate cat. He loves giving little headbutts and nudges, enjoys following you around the house, and likes to sit with you. He is great with children, other cats, and dogs, as we currently have both in the home.
We do want to be completely honest about his needs. Since having him, Elvis has frequently had loose stools which have never fully settled. We were originally told by his previous owner this may have been stress-related from moving, but unfortunately it has continued since we got him over a year ago. We have tried sensitive diets of the shelf not prescribed , as well as prebiotics from the vets, and he has also been treated for ear mites.
The vets have advised that he is otherwise healthy, his weight is good, and he is happy in himself, but the next step would be further testing to find the underlying cause.
He is litter trained and does use his tray, however due to his stomach issues he does sometimes toilet in random places around the house.
Because of changes in our circumstances and the ongoing care he may need, we feel it is only fair that he goes to a home that is happy to give him the extra attention and possible veterinary investigation he deserves.
This is not about money — finding the right home for Elvis is the most important thing to us.
