Here at WREXINGTON COCKERS we are ‘Cockerholics’. absolutely besotted with our Cocker Spaniels. I bought my first Cocker in 1972. Little Sophie captured our hearts, she was adorable. Very small for her age, the vet said. We didn’t know about bad breeders in those days so I thought nothing of it. Then our sweet, beautiful, adorable Sophie died on her 1st birthday.
As a family we were absolutely devastated and inconsolable, especially when we discovered that she had died of an inherited disease FN. Familial Nephropathy is a horrible disease that causes death from kidney failure. When I decided to breed Cocker Spaniels I took all the health steps to make sure that no other family would suffer such heart break like ours, Nowadays we have the luxury of DNA testing which rules out breeding from any animal carrying the inherited diseases that can affect Cockers. ALL my Cockers have their DNA tests, pups born to tested parents are inherently clear.

Here we have a gorgeous litter to first time mum Nellie Pledge. There are 3 handsome boys . We have Gary who is a Chocolate Sable. Gavin who is ae Chocolate and Tan. Craig who is a Red Sable. We have 3 beautiful girls. Dot, a Chocolate Sable (SOLD) Lilian, a Chocolate Sable (SOLD) Gorgeous Enid is a Chocolate Roan and Sable. Our aim is to provide puppies that slide seamlessly into their new homes. So our pups are born and reared in the house. From the day that their eyes open they are kissed, cuddled and talked to. As they get older we include the whole family, which is crucial to their development. They get to meet other dogs in the house. Hoovers, radio, TV, doorbells, washing machines and telephones ringing are all important to them as future members of a family.
Pups are KC registered and microchipped. They will have a thorough health check at the Vets when they are 7 weeks old and have their first injection. They leave us with a generous bag of goodies to help them settle in. We also provide training advice and a generous voucher from the food company we use. A copy of mum and dad’s health test certificate is also included.
As a conscientious breeder I also offer, for the lifetime of your pet, any advice you may need. I am only a phone call away should you experience behavioural or training issues.
A non-returnable deposit of £500 is required to secure a puppy.
