Description
Due to no fault of his own Clark has been returned to us (original breeder) after 8 months.
Clark is now 11months old.
He is a smart dog with much energy.
However he needs a lot of work.
He is riddled with anxiety.
Loud noises, fast movements ect.
He is currently in my home with 4 other dogs and behaves well with them.
The golden retriever next door He behaves and plays well with.
When first meeting a dog outside he will attempt to attack however with the right energy and correct acknowledgement to this behaviour he is now able to just walk past another dog that's passing with out a problem.
He can now walk past people with out barking almost always.
I have been trying my hardest to train and socialise him since hes been back in my care as much as possible.
However, he does not seem to like kids .. I have tried the same measures when out but he still barks.
Due to having no children of my own and no relatives nearby with children either I cannot train him to know that he won't be hurt by them or that they are not a threat.
If he was to go to a person with children they would need to already have an understanding on how to train a dog.
He is still a puppy and he deserves the chance at a fear free life.
Terriers live a long life and I do not want him to live his in fear.
Realistically, he needs a home with someone who has been a previous or is a dog owner.
Who has a knowledge of training dog behaviours.
Who has time to put in the effort and love he deserves.
Someone who is patient.
Someone who's energy isn't low as he is sensitive.
Most importantly someone that isn't going to give up on him and can offer him a safe loving forever home.
Due to my own circumstances I am not able to keep him, however I will continue to care for him until I find him the right home.
