💔 JUNIOR – over 4 years behind bars… still waiting 💔
Some dogs don’t bark for attention.
Some dogs don’t jump at the fence.
Some dogs just look at you…
with eyes that quietly ask: “When will it be my turn?”
This is Junior.
Estimated date of birth: March 2021.
And heartbreakingly, he has spent almost his entire life in a shelter.
Junior was only 6 months old when he was rescued from a kill shelter. A puppy. A baby.
Since that day, his world has been concrete floors, kennel bars, and endless goodbyes. 😔
Junior is a gentle, intelligent boy with a deeply loving heart.
He is grateful for every single moment of attention he receives.
He doesn’t demand.
He simply hopes. 🤍
📏 Size
Junior is medium-sized:
– approx. 20 kg
– around 48 cm shoulder height (can be measured again if needed)
🐶 Character
Junior lives peacefully with other dogs in the shelter and gets along very well with them. He has a calm, soft nature and moves gently within a group. Based on his appearance, we believe he may be a Jack Russell Terrier mix, possibly with some shepherd influence.
But despite his kind and social nature…
Junior often feels sad.
He watches dogs arrive.
He watches dogs leave.
Again and again, he sees the kennel door close right in front of him.
So many farewells.
So many hopes.
So many times left behind.
When will it finally be his turn? 💔
Junior doesn’t dream big.
He doesn’t ask for adventure or excitement.
He dreams of one person.
Of his first real family.
Someone without big expectations.
Someone who understands that Junior has never known normal life.
Someone willing to discover the world with him step by step.
At his pace.
With patience.
With kindness.
With love.
Junior won’t be the dog who knows everything right away.
But he will be the dog who gives everything he has.
Gratitude. Loyalty. A heart ready to bloom once it’s finally safe. 🤍

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
