This is one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to write, but sometimes loving a dog means putting their needs before your own. ❤️
We are looking for a very special forever home for Stanley, our gorgeous 2½-year-old Labrador.
Stanley is an absolutely beautiful boy with a HUGE personality. He is loving, affectionate, playful and full of energy. He loves nothing more than being around people, getting fuss and, most of all, playing with other dogs! 🐶💙

Stanley is a typical young Labrador and can be very excitable and boisterous, which is why we feel a home with older children would suit him best. He genuinely thinks everyone he meets is his new best friend! 😂❤️
He is fantastic with other dogs and absolutely loves to play. He would thrive with a family who has the time to give him plenty of exercise, attention and stimulation.
💔 WHY ARE WE REHOMING HIM?
This is not because Stanley is a bad dog — quite the opposite.
We love him dearly, but we have had to be honest with ourselves and recognise that Stanley isn’t getting the time, attention and stimulation that he deserves from us.
He is young, energetic and wants to be involved in everything. He deserves a family who has the time to give him lots of attention, exercise, play and love.
He is already toilet trained and crate trained, walks brilliantly both on and off lead, and has good recall, so he has some really lovely foundations in place for his new family. ❤️
We feel that finding him the right home is the kindest thing we can do for him, even though it is heartbreaking for us. 💔

We want to find Stanley a genuine forever home where he will be treated as part of the family and given all the love and attention he deserves.
Ideally, his new family will:
🐾 Have plenty of time for him
🐾 Enjoy an active lifestyle
🐾 Be comfortable with an energetic, boisterous Labrador
🐾 Have older children rather than very young children
🐾 Be able to give him lots of exercise, play and stimulation
🐾 Understand that Labradors are a commitment and can remain very playful well into adulthood
We will be very careful about who Stanley goes to. This isn’t about finding him a home quickly — it’s about finding him the RIGHT home. ❤️
