Description
Fosterwold Elm ‘Monty’
Monty is a solid heavily marked liver & white springer spaniel, he weighs 20kg. Old school stamp, strong compact dog with a lovely broad head. He’s primarily used within the beating line, he did the back end of last season around 20 days and will complete over 100 days this coming season within a busy shoot, he’s very naturally easy, has been easy to train with a kind/attentive nature, he just wants to please.
He hunts well, very biddable and loves to flush steady and retrieve.
He’s our third generation of this line, our aim isn’t to breed the next FTCH but to have well rounded spaniels that work but also have an off switch and make great companions. I feel Monty will compliment bitches in doing so.
Fully health tested:
Clear eyes (May 2026)
Gonio grade 1 (May 2026) this would previously of been grade 0 but grading system has recently changed.

0 elbows (ANKC)
DNA clear of AMS, DAMS, Fuco, PFK & PRA(cord1)
Meaning none of his progeny can be affected by these hereditary conditions.
