We are delighted to introduce our beautiful boy Monty, a KC registered Alaskan Malamute, available for his first stud duties.
Monty is a wonderful example of the breed, not only in his handsome appearance but, most importantly, in his truly exceptional temperament.
Having owned and known Malamutes, we can genuinely say that Monty is the friendliest, calmest and most gentle-natured Malamute we have ever met. He is incredibly affectionate, sociable, easy to train and has a beautifully balanced personality.
Monty is exceptionally good with children, having grown up alongside two children in our home. He is gentle, patient and loving, and is accustomed to regular visits from extended family members of all ages. His calm, friendly nature makes him an absolute joy to have around.
He is equally fantastic with other dogs. Monty attended doggy daycare regularly throughout his first two years, socialising with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. He only stopped attending when we began working from home.
Monty is a much-loved, exceptionally well-cared-for member of our family.

🩺 Health & Genetics
Monty has never experienced any known health conditions and has been exceptionally well cared for throughout his life.
Both of his parents underwent relevant health screening before breeding.
AMPN (Alaskan Malamute Polyneuropathy): Hereditary Clear by parentage. Both parents are reported as DNA clear for this condition.
Monty has not undergone his own breed-specific health screening. We are happy to discuss his health history and share available parental health information with interested owners.
🧬 Responsible Breeding
We are committed to protecting the health and genetic diversity of the Alaskan Malamute breed.
Before agreeing to any mating, we require the projected COI of Monty and the prospective female to be checked using the Royal Kennel Club's COI calculator.
We aim for pairings with a projected COI at or below the breed average, and ideally as low as reasonably possible, to help minimise inbreeding risks.
Temperament, pedigree compatibility and the wellbeing of both dogs will always be important considerations.
🐾 What Makes Monty Special?
While Monty's beautiful grey and white coat and classic Malamute features make him a handsome boy, his extraordinary temperament is what truly sets him apart.
His gentle nature with children, friendliness towards other dogs and calm, affectionate personality make him a wonderful family companion.
Combined with his documented pedigree, successful show dog father and carefully researched ancestry, we believe Monty has some lovely qualities to offer.
This will be Monty's first experience as a stud, as he has not previously sired a litter.
