Is about
!!he can go for walks but needs to be put
On his bed to get harness and lead on. He knows "walk" and gets excited by this. He is not at all aggressive when scared but he may shake. He can pull when walking and turns exclusively in clockwise direction. He can be spooked by noises and will try and run if scared. However, this will diminish over time when he gets used to the routine and route. He used to go on long country walks. He will panic if a dog comes up to him but he'll try and move away.
He alert barks when coming home. He can be left alone for long periods of time, this is his favourite time as he relaxes and sleeps. He can live with other dogs, he'd love to be with a dog who can introduce play to him as he's eager for dog companionship. He is house trained and loves being in the garden. He's fine with loud noises, fireworks etc. He is fine with visitors of all ages. He once chased a fox out of the garden. He's a resilient guy with a certain curiosity which is sadly overidden by fear. He goes to the vet for annual check up and vaccine. He travels well in his crate in the car - he loves his crate. But his bed is his safe place. He likes toys that crinkle and tear, he loves chewing on black plastic. He doesn't mind the rain.
He doesn't mind strangers and has often had house sitters look after him over night. He adapts well to new environments
