Description
I’m looking for the right home for my beautiful female German Wirehaired Pointer, approximately 2 years old.
I rescued her from the streets while on holiday in Bulgaria in July, where she was extremely underweight and struggling. Since bringing her home she has fully recovered, is healthy, and has gained condition, and it’s been incredible watching her become the happy dog she is today.
She is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and loyal, with the sweetest nature and truly a heart of gold.
I have been training her daily, and she has come on so much. However, she is still learning and will need someone willing to continue her training and give her the time, structure, and exercise that this intelligent working breed needs.
Because of her background she struggles being left alone indoors, so she would ideally suit:
• A farm or rural home
• A home with a large secure garden
• Someone experienced with working breeds
• A home where someone is around most of the time or willing to continue crate/separation training
She is:
• Great with children
• Good with other dogs
• Good with cats
• Very affectionate and people-oriented
• Energetic and loves being outdoors
This is an incredibly difficult decision, but due to personal circumstances I cannot give her the time and lifestyle she truly deserves.
She will only be rehomed to the very best home.
Rehoming conditions:
• She will be rehomed under contract
• I would like to maintain occasional contact and updates
• If circumstances ever change and you cannot keep her, she must come back to me
• I would prefer to bring her to her new home myself, so I can ensure the environment is right for her and help her settle in.
She means the world to me and I am absolutely heartbroken, but I need to make the right decision for her future.
