Our much-loved family German Shepherd has recently turned 8 years old, and we would love the opportunity to continue his bloodline.
For the past few years, we have been hoping to find a suitable female German Shepherd locally, but haven’t yet found the right match. We are therefore widening our search online.
He is a handsome long-haired, black and tan German Shepherd, weighing approximately 38kg. He is in excellent health, with good square hips and elbows, and has a beautiful temperament. He is highly intelligent, loyal, affectionate and has been a wonderful family dog for the past eight years. Fantastic with young children, he has a loving soul. Still very playful, I honestly think he believes he is still a puppy.
He also comes from an excellent pedigree bloodline — his mother was a working police dog and his father was a show dog, both pedigree German Shepherds.
We are looking for a healthy pedigree female German Shepherd, ideally with a similarly good temperament and health background. Our main hope is to keep one of his puppies ourselves, so that we can continue his lineage within our family.
This is completely new to us, so we want to approach it carefully and responsibly rather than rush anything. We would love for the dogs to meet beforehand and become familiar with one another, and then arrange further meetings when the female is at the appropriate stage of her season.
We are very happy to exchange pedigree and health information, meet the owners and see whether the two dogs are a good match.
