It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my beautiful cockatiel, Peaches. Peaches is approximately 7 months old and is an absolutely gorgeous, affectionate and wonderfully tame little girl. She is DNA tested and is silly tame — she loves people and enjoys being involved in whatever you’re doing. She particularly loves being out of her cage and free flying around the home, exploring her surroundings and spending time with her person. She is very affectionate and enjoys being close to you, often wanting to land on you and be part of the action. She has her own cage, bird stand, toys and plenty of foraging activities, and she is used to having lots of enrichment and time outside her cage. Sadly, due to a change in my personal circumstances, I have come to the incredibly difficult decision that I can no longer give Peaches the time and lifestyle she deserves. This is absolutely not a decision I have taken lightly, and finding her the right home is my priority. I will not allow Peaches to go to just anyone. I want to find her a genuinely loving, responsible and experienced home where she will be treated as a member of the family, given plenty of attention and allowed the freedom and companionship she is accustomed to. I will be asking questions about her potential new home and may wish to stay in contact initially to make sure she has settled and is happy. Her welfare will come before anything else. This is an incredibly hard decision, and I will only let her go when I am completely confident that I have found the right person or family for her. Please only enquire if you are serious about providing Peaches with a loving, permanent home and understand the commitment involved in caring for a cockatiel. ❤️ Peaches deserves nothing less than the very best.
