Nico is a very loving and affectionate boy, he absolutely loves cuddles and he is very gentle with people. š
He knows a few tricks and he walks nicely on the lead, he can be strong when he wants to be so would need someone who can manage this and keep up his lead work training. He is good orientated especially if itās high value which will massively help with this.
Nico has gone out with our volunteers and has been a very good boy!
Nico was brought back to us because he was too much for his owners to handle however in the time heās been with us he hasnāt shown any behavioural concerns but would need someone who has experience owning dogs as he has displayed typical young dog behaviour so needs some basic training.
Nico would benefit from a home in a quieter area so he can enjoy his walks in peace without feeling stressed or overwhelmed.
Nico needs a child free home or with confident, dog savvy children 14+
Nico can have mixed reactions around other dogs, but has been sharing at the kennels so could share his home with another dog after multiple successful meets
Nico does show a prey drive on walks so he will need a cat free home.
In his previous home Nico was toilet trained. He has shown some destructive behaviours on occasions. Nico suffers with separation anxiety which causes him to become very stressed when left alone, he currently cannot be left alone for any length of time, he would therefore need a home with someone who is home to keep him company and slowly build on this alone time. He sleeps well overnight. He struggles with travelling in the car and can only handle short trips.
