Description
This is Max, a Staffordshire/Shar pei cross.
Unfortunately I am having to find him a new home for a variety of reasons.
Max hasn’t had anywhere near enough training or time and affection that he should have had, and is boisterous and unpredictable around my 4 year old. There are no signs of intended aggression but for this reason he will not be rehomed with children younger than teens.
He CANNOT live with cats.
Max is loved as much as anyone else in this family and it really breaks our hearts to have to rehome him but it just wouldn’t be fair to keep him with us when he can have a much better life elsewhere.
He is only 15 months so is still a pup, he is due his second lot of vaccinations soon and has not yet been neutered as it was advised to wait until 18 months by the vet. He is fully toilet and crate trained.
He is on Hills gastrointestinal food with salmon oil which he has just gotten used to due to having some sensitivity to other foods. This type of food (Royal Canin is the alternative) is non negotiable and is not cheap so please take this into consideration also.
Max will benefit from socialisation with other dogs and needs plenty of exercise daily.
But apart from all of that, he is just the sweetest big baby, and will make the perfect addition to the right home. He can be nervous when first meeting new people but soon settles and turns in to the sloppiest lap dog.
Please know he will go to the person/people I believe to be the best fit for him, not the first to enquire.
