Description
Yellow Ackie Monitor – Baby/Juvenile – Late 2025 Hatch
I’m looking for a knowledgeable, experienced home for this young yellow ackie monitor, hatched in late 2025.
Currently weighing approximately 29g and measuring around 17cm total length, this little one is still quite small for its age but is eating well and actively hunting its food.
Despite being small, it is feeding confidently and showing good hunting instincts. It will need an experienced keeper who understands the specific care requirements of ackie monitors and is prepared to provide everything needed for healthy growth and development.
Looking for:
* An experienced, committed reptile keeper.
* A suitably sized, secure enclosure with appropriate heating, UVB lighting and a proper basking gradient.
* A suitable diet, supplementation and ongoing monitoring of growth and health.
* Someone willing to research and meet the species’ long-term needs, including a large, enriched adult enclosure.
This is not a reptile for someone to buy on impulse. Its welfare is my priority, and I will only consider a home that can demonstrate a good understanding of ackie monitor care.
Please message with details of your experience keeping monitors or other reptiles and the setup you have prepared. I’m happy to answer genuine questions to help ensure the right home is found.
