Originally from Romania, Freddy is a gorgeous, quirky little lad full of personality. He weighs around 7kg and will be 5 years old in December. He is currently in Southampton. Unfortunately Freddy has not appreciated the arrival of a new baby, so we are looking for a home without children. He would love a home with adopters able to offer routine and without a steady stream of visitors. Unfortunately, Freddy has nipped a couple of visitors due to the stress of the situation, so any adopter would need to manage visitors to keep Freddy relaxed and his naturally friendly self. He is fine to be left for periods and he is fully housetrained. Freddy does appreciate a decent walk and the opportunity to explore and sniff. He’s fine with traffic and travels well in the car. He is happy with most dogs, although he can be reactive towards some when he is on the lead. He doesn’t appreciate off lead dogs running up to him. He can be walked off lead and he loves chasing a ball and digging around in the sand and he loves a visit to a cafe. If you have a resident dog then a meeting would be advisible prior to adoption. We do not know what he is like with cats and, unfortunately we have no way of testing him. Freddy is up-to-date with his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. We are looking for a calm environment for Freddy where he will remain the focus of attention. He is a great companion in the right home. He comes with full rescue backup from Stray2me Rescue and the support of our behaviourist should it be needed.
