German Spitz x Chihuahua Puppies – Nearly 6 Weeks Old
These lovely little puppies came into our care just over a week ago, along with their beautiful mum, Ali, through very sad circumstances.
Thankfully, they had been well cared for and arrived healthy and settled.
Over the past week they have:
• Started the weaning process
• Had their veterinary health checks
• Begun lots of careful socialisation
• And of course received plenty of love
They are absolutely thriving. Their little personalities are starting to shine through and their confidence is growing daily.
We are committed to ensuring they leave us as well-socialised, healthy and happy puppies who have been given the very best start in life.
They remain with their mum Ali, who is a wonderfully natured girl and a devoted mother.
They are also sharing their space with Thomas, a young Chihuahua who came in with them and has taken his role in their upbringing very seriously!
The puppies are meeting different people regularly and are confident around our own dogs.
German Spitz are lively, intelligent and active dogs.
They excel in activities such as agility and other dog sports, so these puppies will need active homes where both their physical and mental needs will be met.
Please do not apply if:
You have very young children
Your children have not been brought up around dogs
You cannot offer a proper, committed dog-owning lifestyle
These puppies will require ongoing puppy classes, continued socialisation and dedicated training to build on the hard work already being put into them.
Preference will always be given to experienced rescue homes.
They will not be homed with entire (unneutered) dogs.
