Description

Meet Roscoe, a gorgeous 9-month-old Romanian rescue boy with a beautiful nature, a mischievous streak and a wonderfully goofy personality! Roscoe arrived in the UK at the end of September and is now enjoying life in a loving foster home in South Worcestershire, where his character is really beginning to shine. He’s an affectionate, playful youngster who loves the company of other dogs, enjoys his walks and is discovering the pleasures of comfy beds, belly rubs and cuddles. He’s also something of a lovable rogue! Roscoe has a particular talent for collecting unattended belongings and proudly relocating them around the house and garden. Shoes, blankets and even underwear are apparently fair game! Thankfully, he’s more interested in his treasures than destroying them. And then there’s his wonderfully clumsy side. Roscoe has been known to bump into things, flop dramatically onto unsuspecting feet and fall asleep almost instantly. Life with this boy certainly won’t be boring! ❤️ What makes Roscoe special? Affectionate, funny and full of personality Loves playing and spending time with other dogs Walks beautifully on the lead, including in a group Fully housetrained and sleeps well overnight Can currently be left for around 90 minutes after exercise Enjoys cuddles, belly rubs and relaxing at home Very food motivated, which is helping with his confidence and training 🏡 Roscoe’s ideal home Roscoe is still a young dog finding his confidence. He can initially be unsure of unfamiliar people and some new dogs, occasionally barking while he works things out. With patience and gentle introductions, he settles and begins to show his lovely personality. He previously spent a short time in a home as an only dog, but it became clear that he really benefits from canine companionship. Roscoe needs a calm, child-free home with at least one friendly, confident resident dog who can help him feel secure and continue building his confidence. His new family should be patient, understanding and happy to give him time to settle at his own pace. In return, they’ll gain a wonderfully entertaining, affectionate companion with so much love to give. 🐾 Roscoe’s details Born 25 January 2026 Currently approximately 20kg, expected to grow to around large Labrador size Fostered in South Worcestershire Fully vaccinated and microchipped Brucella canis (BCUK) tested Housetrained Not yet neutered due to his age; neutering will be a condition of adoption Must live with another suitable dog Child-free home required Roscoe has already made lovely progress in foster care, and with the right family beside him, we think this gorgeous boy has so much more to offer.
