Hera is a young pointer type who bonds strongly to her human friends and just wants to be as close as she can to them, cuddling as much as possible!
Hera can be a bit shy of new people but is quickly won over with treats, she loves her food.
Hera is great with other dogs, great in the car and a bit of a couch potato!
She enjoys a good zoom about and a play but she is very much a people dog and will stare lovingly into your eyes for as long as you let her.
Hera does have a common Mediterranean disease called Leishmaniasis, this is a disease (caused by sand flies) that can be detected through blood tests, Hera shows no clinical signs and is completely healthy. To keep Leishmaniasis in check, Hera takes daily medication, 2nd Chance Dogs will provide a years worth of this medication to any new adopter and can discuss this with them.
