Description
Here I have Reiko a male Indian Ringneck. He is currently 1 year old and looking for his forever home.
He loves talking to you in his cage however is scared of hands. We had started the simple hand training and he had the confidence to fly from his cage to sit on my shoulder for a snack. However with previously losing our older male Ringneck his training reversed. He loves to be out of his cage but is now a challenge to get him to go back in unless it is dark as he then takes himself to bed. He is definitely a character at the best of times!
Unfortunately since loosing my other male i don’t have the time to regain our bond so because of this I’m looking for him to go to a new home with someone who will have the time for him and have other bird companions to bring him back out of his shell.
He tends to be more active at night time which is when he prefers to be out and sat on his perch. He absolutely loves his fruit and nuts, he is on a mixed diet of pellets and parrot feed.
I would rather his cage go to his new home with his as it’s a massive comfort for him and would put him in a lot of distress without it as he’s grown up in it.
His cage is shown in the photos above but doesn’t have the outside catcher marked in red. The cage measurements are 81.5L x 174H centimetres.
